Many catholic schools are located in countries which are undergoing radical changes in outlook and life style; these countries are becoming urbanized and industrialized, and are moving into the so called tertiary economy, characterized by a high standard of living, a wide choice of educational opportunities, and complex communication system. Young people in these countries are familiar with the media from their infancy; they have been exposed to awing variety of opinions one very possible topic, and are surprisingly well- informed even when they are still very young.
These young people absorb a wide a d varied assortment of knowledge from all kinds of sources, including the school. But they are not yet capable of ordering or prioritizing what they have learned. Often enough, they do not yet have the critical ability needed to distinguish the true and good from their opposites; they have not yet acquired the necessary religious and moral criteria that will enable them to remain objective and independent when faced with the prevailing attitudes and habitats of society. Hence there is a great need for advanced and equipped catholic values to prevail all the time in our school.

President's Message
To our members of the OBU,
First I offer you my sincere appreciation and gratitude for all that you do to keep the College ever reaching heights of success.
I make this also an opportunity to thank you all for the big support you extended in the renovation project of our Old College Hall. Students of the College have already begun to benefit much from the renovated Hall.
Today I see the beginning of a new journey with the election of talented, dedicated, and innovative office bearers. I promise to be one with you, in all your tireless efforts to keep the College ever improving.
Let’s work hard, achieve more and create more significant impacts. I will be needing a lot more support from you, in this Glorious 125th Jubilee Year of the College.
My sincere appreciation and gratitude for all the good that you have done. Your tireless dedication and unwavering support have helped the college achieve so much during my two-year tenure.
My congratulations on the new improvement of your website.
May God bless you all.

Our union strives to strengthen this bond, support our alma mater, and create opportunities for all members to connect, collaborate, and contribute.
We have an exciting year ahead, filled with events and initiatives that will bring us closer together. I encourage you to stay engaged, participate, and share your ideas as we work towards making a positive impact.
Thank you for your continued support. Together, we can keep the spirit of our college alive and thriving.
